Dr. Spryce York | Chiropractor
Dr. York was born and raised in Rixford, Pennsylvania. Her passion for chiropractic started when she herself experienced the benefits from receiving chiropractic care while in undergrad interning at a chiropractic office. Dr. York suffered from pain, numbness and tingling in her right arm her entire childhood due to having thoracic outlet syndrome. Dr. York was a 3 sport athlete and these symptoms really affected her ability to perform on the court and field at times. Dr. York also experienced the symptoms her first year of college softball and had to discontinue when she lost partial function of her arm and hand due to muscle dystrophy. She went to multiple doctors to try and find treatment for TOS but It wasn't until she found chiropractic, where she would finally find the relief she so desperately needed. After her first adjustment, she no longer felt that pain and discomfort. She was then hooked on chiropractic and wanting to help people reach their optimal health goals.
Dr. York attended at Pennsylvania State University where she began interning at that same office where she received her first chiropractic adjustment. After she graduated Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor in Kinesiology, she traveled to Texas where she went to school for massage therapy at Hands on Approach School of Massage. After graduating massage school, she traveled to Georgia to start her journey to obtain her Doctorate in Chiropractic at Life University. While at Life University, she studied many different techniques to ensure that she could assist everyone that walked into her future office doors, with the goal to help all live life to their fullest potential. Dr. York found her passion in helping infants, children and pregnant mothers through the ICPA club offered at Life University.

Dr. York is ICPA certified in the Webster Technique where a very specific and gentle adjustment is given to a pregnant mother to reduce the effects of subluxation of the sacrum as well as sacroiliac joint dysfunction. Dr. York is also in the process of getting CACCP certified through the ICPA. This certification is a comprehensive 200-hour program consisting of 20 course offerings on top of the standard Doctor of Chiropractic requirements. This series is designed to expand professional ability in adjusting techniques, evaluation, and assessment of different stages of development: is neonatal, pediatric and perinatal care. This all ensures that seeing a CACCP chiropractor, like Dr. York is currently working on, will be the best quality pediatric and perinatal chiropractic care you can get. There are many Chiropractors who see infants, children and pregnant women, but very few with the advanced training needed to be a certified pediatric and perinatal chiropractor.
